Title
Do you know how to…?
This scenario-based eLearning experience is a conceptual project designed to help…
Audience:
Responsibilities: Instructional Design (analysis, action mapping, storyboarding, graphic design, mockups, prototype, full build, visual design, audio narration, character animation)
Tools Used: Articulate Storyline 360, Canva, Vyond, Figma, Google Docs, Mindmeister, Audacity, ChatGPT, Freepik
The Problem
Have you been in ____ scenario before? Do you know someone who has?
Explain the problem.
The Solution
A self-paced story-driven eLearning product is the best solution for these reasons:
Learners are geographically dispersed.
Learners can engage at any time, any place.
The eLearning experience is replicable and unlimited.
Learners can build their knowledge and decision-making skills in a low-stakes environment.
Learners can practice decision-making.
An eLearning activity can be updated quickly and re-deployed with minimal overhead.
My Process
I completed this model using the _____ model. For the analysis phase, I looked at statistics reported by…..
During the design phase, my storyboard was approved, and I started designing wireframes and mockups in _____ and ______. This is where the scenes and characters began to come to life.
Then during the development phase, I created the interactive prototype using Articulate 360. After gathering feedback from learners about the user experience, I worked through iterations and then fully developed the product.
The implementation phase involved sharing the project with learners.
Finally, consultation and evaluation was the key to success for this project. After gathering more data, I improved the experience to ensure it was easy to navigate and effective at accomplishing the learning objective.
